![]() Still, it's just a game, maybe someone will mod it for you. Enjoy your holiday Version 1.1.0.0 - Added Sugarcane (no growth) - Removed code - Updated calendar for Seasons 1. Drive around in your truck or tractor, slipping over the roads, or draw snow circles. With the baler of the Kuhn DLC one can press the bales, but not wrap. All presses are now working with clover (SP & MP). (Note: it is the soil temp you need to watch, not the air temp) The second page gives you your Seasons options such as farenheight temps instead of centigrade. The map includes 3 farms, ETA and alfalfa pellet production as concentrated feed. You wouldn't go out in the winter to collect the snow and then return the water in the spring, since Nature saves you the trip. Snowy Lands is a GEO mod that has eternal winter and high snow. All standard fruit plus oats, rye, alfalfa and alfalfa are installed. The Seasons mod changes the fundamental way to play Farming Simulator by introducing seasons and changing all aspects of the gameplay, such as weather, growth, economy, vehicle maintenance and husbandry to suit. ![]() It takes 5 years for trees to be fully grown, harvestable after 2 years. (For best results, restart the game / server after changing season length) Plowable snow in the winter Reduced. The mod also controls the growth of planted trees. Growth and withering settings are disabled as this mod overwrites this functionality. Snow on the fields goes towards keeping the soil from flying away in the wind and then as an early water source before cultivation. Using a tedder when crops are wet or when it is raining, leaves wet grass, not dry grass. Ploughing it off the yard for melting would be a lousy source of fresh water, since you drive all over the yard and it's coated with chemicals from tires, vehicle exhaust, and if you keep your pressure washer there, soap. Dry snow would produce maybe one twentieth of its volume in water, and wet snow, maybe one tenth, so you'd have to plough a lot of it just to get a little. It is a mod designed for the players who do not like being able to sow, harvest and sow again all in one day. The energy you'd use to collect and melt the snow would far outweigh the cost of water. The farm makes an excellent money sink and a reliable source of places where fingers can be lost. There is no direct use for it, the snow that is. ![]() My family in real life owns a farm that's covered in snow six or seven months out of the year.
